WHO'S IN CHARGE AT MILE

MILE, a totally volunteer organization sponsored by Middlesex Community College, is managed by an Advisory Board consisting of four elected officers and several committee chairpersons appointed by the Chair with Board approval.  The four officers are elected by the MILE membership to serve a two year term and may serve an additional term if re-elected.  Currently serving in office are:

Elizabeth Tischio, Chairperson

Nancy Jordan, Vice Chairperson

Al Schuman, Treasurer

Virginia Gumz,  Secretary

Tischio, Schumann and Gumz are serving their second year, and although relatively new to MILE at the time of their election in ’06, they have done a remarkable job in overseeing the organization through positive growth, broadened appeal and expansive programming.
